Final Wish

Mom receives her final wish.

Check out the link to the newspaper article about my students Mom. It is touching and heartbreaking. I went to the wake this evening, hugged my little student, told him he looked handsome with his new haircut and suit on, said a prayer for the family, and talked with friends.

Thank you for sharing this family's story with us. They will forever have their very own angel watching over them.

I read the link... it was so touching. I hope this family can heal from this loss.

That was so touching to read. I am amazed by how fast the disease progressed. Praying that the family will find comfort.

Very sad, yet beautiful.

What a sad time for this family. I just, as a parent want to say what a fantastic teacher you are. The difference in a good teacher and a phenomenal teacher is one who takes her students and makes them her own. As he grows up you will always have a place in his heart and he will remember you being there for him. That is what being a teacher is all about.

as usual i'm behind in my blogging. what a touching article. very, very tragic...unfair really. a reminder that life is so short, too short. none of us should take for granted the little things, and we should always try not to sweat the small stuff. ALS is a horrible illness, i've mentioned before that two people in my life have died from this illness, at young ages. my heart breaks for those children and their dad.
