Too Bad Life Isn't Always A Box of Chocolates

Life is full of curve balls. However, when one is thrown at you and you aren't expecting it, it can be a whole new ball game.

With this curve ball comes uncertainty, change in lifestyle and what you are used too. It can have other changes like moving from family and friends.

You have to go where this new game starts. It may be close to home or not.

Yesterday, my hubby lost his job. It was a horrible day. I felt like I was kicked in the gut.

Today, I am okay. I have a better outlook. I am ready to go through this journey with him by supporting things that may come to him. If this takes us to a new place, so be it and it will be okay.

I don't mind change, change can be good, maybe this was a sign from up above. I am ready and will stay strong for him and our kids.

So I guess this means no more shoe shopping for a while! :)

Shoe shopping can indeed wait. In times like these.....when we're forced to look at life through a "simple" lens......budget-wise and cautious.....I find the most fullfilling parts shine through.

We've moved from Texas to Denver and just recently to Kansas City. I love it. I love trying out a new part of the country. I hope you will, too, should you be given the option.

Change can be really, really good. Take your time and breath. I'll be thinking about you!

what a great attitude to have! sorry for the job loss, but just think of the possibilities for the future! good luck to your hubby on finding a new job - wherever that may be

I am so sorry. My husband lost his job 5 years ago, so I know how you feel. It was a time of worry and uncertainty. BUT we made it through it and he used it as a chance to change careers (he wasn't happy with what he was doing anyway), and he is much happier now.

I hope a great new opportunity opens up for him.

Hope he is able to find another job quickly. I will keep my fingers crossed. It's a good thing everything in the stores right now looks like cr@*! It will make it easier to not buy anything, ha.
I will be thinking of you guys.
